My Pubes Bleed When I Shave

Museum Quai Branly in Paris

recently in During a fleeting visit to Paris, I came across a truly unique and fascinating building: the Museum Quai branle designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.
Almost by accident while visiting the Eiffel Tower, about 100m of altitude above the ground in total admiration of the immense expanse of urban Paris, and my attention 'was catalyzed by a spot color from very autumnal tones that differed in a clearly determined by the surrounding urban context.

view from the Eiffel Tower
For those who have had the pleasure of seeing Paris from above or from the Eiffel Tower or the hill of the Sacred Heart, have noticed the almost uniform color due to the use almost Exclusive sandstone that gives the urban Parisian tones tend to clear.
Clearly I could not resist the temptation to know what you were dealing with, given the challenging position behind the Seine and the planimetric and placed in a very dynamic environment full of vegetation.
down from the Eiffel Tower, I immediately headed for the architectural temptation!
between an alley and I got the other side of the building, in an almost unreal, not a building with a green space but a building zone with it and totally inseparable from it: here I was in front of the Museum Quai Branly, a jewel of contemporary architecture dedicated to arts and civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas and Western .... but not nearly unique in France and one of the few in the Western world.

Side view of the Museum

The birth of the museum was built by Jacques Chirac , Big fan of non-Western and primitive art, which he opened in 2006. The building is' very articulate and has a provision for planimetric mostly on stilts, as if to recall a Canadian lake environmentally below.
Below for those arriving on foot will present a fantastic scenario: an endless sequence of artificial hills, ponds and vegetation of all kinds .... no regular routes that link the visitor's attention almost as a Ariadne's thread, the discovery of the complex.
The building seems to be the continuation of the surrounding landscape colors: the walls are made of ventilated cladding panels metallic and polychrome color composition and 'have been studied in detail to dialogue with the surrounding nature.
The garden leads through the building and comes almost close to the Seine where a glass wall to ceiling defines the boundary of the park almost to want to protect the museum and at the same time showcase.

The part of the building towards the Seine 's activities were enhanced by vertical walls plant botanical artist Patrick Blanc, the author of numerous floral arrangements all over the world, including which ones included in the Caixa Forum Herzog and de Meuron in Madrid.

view towards the green wall

Intrigued and amazed I decided to visit the museum and head for the lobby. elicidale A ramp for access to very slight slope leads me to a natural environment is extremely bright for a more and more 'dark.
All internal exhibition spaces have been deliberately shielded the sunlight almost want to highlight the sacredness associated with the primordial nature of man. The interior and 'really amazing: a middle path consisting of walls reproducing morphology placed between the bone and rock, it seems to be in the jaws of a crevasse or in the bed of a tropical river. Side a double exhibition leads to the discovery of several theme areas: America, Asia, Africa, Oceania follow each other seamlessly in an environment that inspires respect Amira and almost silently above the entry of a place scacro. The scacralità is present in the primary of each exhibit, witness to civilization largely disappeared. The incredible thing is 'too complex visitability exhibition: every corner of the huge museum and' perfectly attainable by anyone regardless of their requirements for mobility, is a huge exhibition tape gently sloping!

Among

magic of this museum, you and 'total sustainability of the system: verical the walls, the windows are enriched by the photovoltaic roofs, underground geothermal probes ensures perfect thermal equilibrium. It 'difficult to convey the charm of this place but I urge anyone who was in Paris to go and visit well worth consideration. However

Bridge Pavilion by Zaha Hadid

Bridge Pavilion by Zaha Hadid
has' just finished the Universal Exhibition held in Zaragoza, which has as its theme water as a fundamental element of life. In
quality 'of representatives of "Ark's-workgroup and Ark's-cultural association" - it was only right to be present at this important event, as well as the event itself interesting, even for a visit in person singular and fervent laboratory architecture and the site 'was set up at that time.
Expo 'has been equipped area of \u200b\u200babout 25 hectares located along the river Ebro, just north of the English city.
The proximity of the river environment has influenced a lot of the architecture exhibition.
We were particularly impressed by two of the most 'significant and perhaps representative of the event: access to the bridge, designed by Zaha Hadid and Patrick Shumacher and the English pavilion of the architect Francisco Mangado. Both architectures have an incredible ability to report and interpretation of water-related topic .... as well as an original architectural vocabulary.
The event 'was recorded in the number Casabella 768 of 2008 for those who wish to learn.

Labeled Sailboat Diagrams

ARCHITECTURE AND PARTICIPATION IN SOCIAL MOVEMENT'S ARK

I recently visited the city 'of Madrid and fascinated by the beauty of the place I have penetrated to the center between the lanes of the discovery of urban squares and details unknown to me, after having visited the Atocha station, sadly etched in the collective memory because 'recently' was the grim scenario of one of the most 'heinous terrorist attacks in the Islamic land of Spain, I visited the Reina Sofia Museum, recently enlarged by the architect Jean Nouvel, the museum came out I thought I'd visit the Prado Museum, famous because it is currently 'the biggest container of English art world and beyond, I decide to head for the Prado and as I usually prefer to go into the alleys of the neighborhood rather than follow the Paseo del Prado, a wide thoroughfare with heavy traffic passing in front of the museum.
In a few minutes before me opens a whole new and unusual scenario: a square with an old factory in the middle of the nineteenth century a clear matrix. I still know and understand the structure and 'enclosed by a fence of the yard; known immediately that this is not just a site but a work in progress too strong to remain anonymous. The factory appears to be suspended above the ground, and 'was literally cut to the base and suspended, to create an underlying connective space, a sort of square-atrium.

I stop to talk to a resident of the square, which is curious to see me photograph the structure, I find that it is a old factory once used to glass and then went to ruin because of a huge fire that has devoured the elegant roof trusses made of metal, very resistant to normal operating conditions but at high labilissime temperature.Il through asking me whether the structure is to my liking ...... suggesting that it is the bone of contention between the villagers and the administration in Madrid. Tell the gentleman that I am a Italian architect who was fascinated by this action because 'it is an intervention that takes account of the most' stringent criteria imposed by the restoration and classic at the same time we are faced with a work of architecture and extremely strong innovativa.La factory, once a place of work, had been transformed into a cultural center ..... for the manufacture and dissemination of ideas, art forms and culture. The structure consists of the sun outer walls survived the fire, had been transformed into an object-container of high technology and culture. Suspended from the ground and completed at the summit 'of glazed structures, shielded by panels of Cor-Ten steel, arabesque motifs reproducing, reproducing the same warm colors of the curtain wall of the original building.

Looking at the bottom of the building immediately intuit the same array architecture already seen at the Forum in Barcelona and I realize that they are facing one of the last works, yet unpublished architects Herzog & de Meuron. Much more 'curious to me before I decide to work around the yard at 360 ° for a total perception of the work, at one point known that the fence construction and 'enriched by strange signs. I go over and see that it is not required by law posters on safety at construction sites, but messages of protest from some citizens opposed to the construction site.
The Cartel reported wrote: "es por que hoy it come to cover evenings arquitecto 'hasta la muerte "...... a sort of warning to the author of this mess! And I 'came immediately to think about the importance of involving the collectivity' in the process of urban transformation, we can not 'think out of choices to keep planning the very people who will have to live directly those spaces. It 'important to involve citizenship, making them aware of what are the choices, motivations and results to be obtained with a given intervention on an urban scale, in view of the fact that they will be the beneficiaries but also the financing of the operation. So I think that it is necessary to begin forms of social involvement that are able to make people perceive the goodness 'of the intervention and the need' of a collective involvement for the success of the work.

Someone said that the work of architecture for meta 'on the architect and half' due to the favorable conditions creategli illuminated by a customer!

The building is called the Caixa Forum and it 'was published by Casabella the number 765 is currently on newsstands.
