Mustapha is a guy who is from Morocco, lives and works in Porta Palazzo, knows his district and its people. Very active in the territory to the point of work also with us as a volunteer in the gazebo of the Arabic language. Here Mustapha supports and enriches the work of the teacher Elizabeth Libanore, offering students of Arabic an added value priceless: linguistic authenticity and cultural exchange.

Mustapha when did your volunteer experience with "In the square we learn and what is it?
two years attending the square on Sunday, while the project takes place. I work with Elizabeth, a teacher of Arabic, and for me it is very interesting because it helps to get to know the language and Arab culture. It 'nice to know so many people from many different countries, which have an open mind and is looking for a person who studies Arabic and Italian to deal directly with someone who comes from Morocco ... because it makes them better understand the culture.

Who are the students of Arabic on Sunday morning and study for your language?

are more Italians. Is there anyone who studies the language out of curiosity but there are some people that are in place to prepare for a trip. I know that people in Morocco have had many language problems and to avoid this are in place to study the language.

What kind of relationship is created between the students? Can you tell us of the episodes?

I always read the Arabic poetry in the gazebo. There is a gentleman from Naples who attended the course for some 'time. He loves the Arab culture and always try to meet us, this has brought many things such as meetings in libraries or in some bar in Porta Palazzo, we can translate the poems in different languages: Japanese, English, Arabic, Romanian, Naples We meet with us ... etc. .. students learn in the streets. We have read and translated poems recited by Toto. Maybe we'll make a little book that collects them all to keep as a souvenir. The important thing now is to continue!
